The Gunners have been active in the transfer market, securing signings for Martin Zubimendi, Kepa Arrizabalaga, Christian Norgaard, and Noni Madueke for a combined cost of roughly £123.5m.
Additionally, they are still in talks regarding a transfer for Sporting striker Viktor Gyokeres, valued at 73.5m euros (£63.5m), and are aiming to acquire young defender Cristhian Mosquera from Valencia.
Arsenal had anticipated wrapping up a deal for Sweden's Gyokeres to have him join their pre-season tour, but this transfer has not been finalized yet. Nevertheless, Arteta has not dismissed the possibility of new arrivals traveling with the team to Asia.
"I can't speak on any player who isn't part of our squad yet. When we have a solid offer for any player, we will communicate that," Arteta remarked when inquired about the potential arrival of 27-year-old Gyokeres.
When questioned about the opportunity for more new additions to his 30-man roster during their travels, Arteta stated, "The transfer window is still open for a while, and we are still looking."
"In terms of squad numbers, we are lacking, and it’s essential to enhance both the depth and quality of our team. We are consistently monitoring the market."
"Until that materializes, we will focus on our current players, and I am very pleased with what I have observed over the past 10-15 days."
Arsenal is currently in Singapore for matches against AC Milan and Newcastle, after which they will head to Hong Kong for a match against their rivals Tottenham.
While in Singapore, discussing his new additions ahead of Arsenal's upcoming clash with AC Milan on Wednesday, Arteta shared, "It's like revitalizing the situation."
"New players... they introduce fresh excitement and energy as well. We've brought in some significant players. I believe everyone understands that we need to elevate our performance to a new level, and that's what we are aiming for."
