The 19-year-old is anticipated to finalize his transfer to the southern coast within the next 24 hours, contingent upon the completion of paperwork and clearing a medical examination.

Doak was excluded from Liverpool's 4-2 victory over Bournemouth at Anfield on Friday night due to ongoing negotiations between the two Premier League teams.

However, Bournemouth has now reached an agreement for the winger, who has six appearances for Scotland and spent the previous season on loan at Middlesbrough, where he netted three goals and provided seven assists in 24 games.

It is believed they have outmaneuvered interest from other Premier League teams, including Leeds, as well as the Portuguese club Porto.

Doak's transfer will enhance his prospects of featuring in first-team matches, having only appeared 10 times for Liverpool since his arrival from Celtic in 2022.

Bournemouth has experienced a hectic summer, having recently sold Dango Ouattara to Brentford for £42.5 million last week.

They have also seen defenders Illia Zabarnyi, Dean Huijsen, and Milos Kerkez depart for a total of approximately £150 million to Paris St-Germain, Real Madrid, and Liverpool, respectively.

Manager Andoni Iraola expressed that his team is "not where they want to be" following the defeat at Anfield and stated that "important movements" will occur before the transfer window closes on September 1.

This summer, the club has welcomed goalkeeper Djordje Petrovic, left-back Adrien Truffert, and center-back Bafode Diakite, while January acquisition Eli Junior Kroupi is also joining the squad after completing last season on loan at Lorient.

Sources indicate that the Cherries are seeking another central defender and a forward to challenge Evanilson, with alternative option Enes Unal expected to be sidelined due to a significant knee injury until November or December.
